ICAR IIMR Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this prestigious role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Essential Qualifications
- For Doctoral Candidates:
- Ph.D. in Food Science & Nutrition, Food Chemistry, Food Technology, Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics, or related fields.
- For Master’s Candidates:
- Master’s degree in a relevant subject, coupled with a 4/5-year Bachelor’s degree.
- Must have secured 60% marks or equivalent GPA.
- At least 3 years of research experience, supported by evidence such as fellowships or associateships.
- Published at least one research paper in a Science Citation Index (SCI) or NAAS-rated (≥4.0) journal.
Desirable Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in clinical trials and new product development.
- Expertise in advanced food processing techniques and laboratory instruments.
- Familiarity with plant protein isolation, nanoparticle application in food, and food chemistry.
- Skills in statistical analysis, documentation, and conducting human intervention studies.
- Proficiency in English, MS Office, and the willingness to travel to field sites.
Age Limit
- Maximum age: 40 years as of the interview date.
- Relaxations:
- 5 years for SC/ST/women candidates.
- 3 years for OBC candidates.
