Educational Qualifications:

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in one of the following disciplines:

• Remote Sensing and GIS
• Geo-informatics
• Any discipline of Agriculture
• Environmental Science
• Geography

Alternatively, candidates with an M.Tech in the following areas are also eligible:

• Computer Applications
• Information Technology
• Computer Science
• Software Engineering
• Electronics & Communication Engineering

Desirable Qualifications:

• A PhD in any scientific discipline is preferred.
• Proficiency in satellite image processing, GIS, and programming languages such as Python, Java, or MATLAB.

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 45 years (age relaxation as per government norms)

Remuneration:

• The consolidated salary for the YP-II position is Rs. 42,000/- per month.
