BPSC School Teacher Recruitment 2024 (TRE 3.0): Selection process
Stage 1: Written Examination
- Date: Scheduled for March 7, 2024 (tentative)
- Mode: Offline (pen-and-paper)
- Format: Three objective-type papers with a total of 150 questions for 150 marks (no negative marking)
- Paper 1: Language (Qualification) (30 marks) – Assesses proficiency in English and Hindi/Urdu/Bengali
- Paper 2: General Studies (60 marks) – Covers various topics like Elementary Mathematics, Mental Ability Test, General Awareness, General Science, Social Science, Indian National Movement, Geography and Environment.
- Paper 3: Selected Subject (60 marks) – Covers the chosen subject you applied for (e.g., Mathematics, Science, Social Science, etc.)
- Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- At least 30% in Paper 1 (Language)
- At least 40% in Paper 2 (General Studies)
- At least 40% in Paper 3 (Selected Subject)
Stage 2: Document Verification
- Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for document verification.
- This stage involves verifying the authenticity of submitted documents and ensuring they meet the eligibility criteria.
- Only candidates who successfully complete document verification will be considered for final selection.
Final Selection:
- The merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the written exam.
- If the total marks of the written exam (objective) are equal, the score of the selected subject (Paper 3) and in case of equal marks in the selected subject, the merit order will be determined according to the marks of Language (Qualification) (Paper 1) subject.
- Selected candidates will be notified and offered appointment based on the merit list and available vacancies.
